a lot of pet stores, etc. say aquariums are the cages for degus...they really aren't. especially if you want to keep the babies. a temp. cage that is fine her and her babies together. but if not i recommend you building them a tall roomy cage. for just two degus i would recommend about a three feet high and two feet in depth at least. again degus are climbing critters so lots of branches and things to play and jump on. good luck and super cute babies :)

wtf?? the cag is way too small and there are no trees no wood to climb on it....i hope this is just the cage for the babies!!!

too cute. I just absoutly love degus, I should of bought a male to breed mine, but now i cant find anyone who has males...I only have 3 females and the pet store that sold them to me has closed down for good...
