World record zx 14 Longest distance top speed on the street.The bike has dual nitrous tanks (jets are a secret) power commander, TRE,butterflies removed and other little mods.Stretched, Lowered etc. This is an older video, the bike now does well over 200 mph.

BMW's are crap huh?

Is it that why loads of police forces all over the world use them? You see they tend to last forever and be very reliable mechanically, whereas those Japanese superbikes have a life lenght of 5 years tops.

Also, while BMW's flat twin was so successful it remained in production for years, and was copied by other manafacturers (including in the USSR during the Cold War), and won 19 MotoGP titles to Suzuki's 16 and Kawasaki's 9.

I'm sure the Z14R will pull a quicker 1/4 mile though . TheGeek is just doing his thing .

I'm not disagreeing with you; BMW makes great products all around. To say that Japanese super bikes have a life of 5 years top is a complete lie though. I have my 1998 ZX6-R and all my mechanics agree that it's in amazing shape despite it's age. I've only had to replace my chain as it had 20,000 miles, tires, rear sprocket, and fork seals. Definitely a better bang for the buck for those of us who don't want to get a second mortgage for a Ducati, BMW, Harley, etc.

Since I can't afford to beat on a BMW, I have a Hayabusa instead...and I DRAG most BMW's...note I said MOST! They cost on average, twice as much as BMW's and thats probably why you see them half as much on the road. They are bad ass bikes no doubt!
