From "Soundtrack To Spleen"

I'd kill you
Or you'd kill me
I could wreck that head of yours

Move it from side to side
Then we'll see
You can't take that away from me

Try to be strong
Try to be kind
Try to pretend
But I can't live a lie
And nor he
Oh he could have been a friend to me
No matter what you think or do
It always comes back to you

Here I am
Round again
Is this the end?
Now you won't ever find me

  • Oh wow, I have a lot of PJ's rare recordings, but I didn't even know about this one. Thank you very much for sharing! :)

  • Instantly, I knew it was a Rob Ellis string arrangement! Rob Ellis is such an amazing arranger, and one of my favorite drummers. Thanks for posting!

  • This song makes me think of one of the many ghosts killed in "Supernatural" - how they never really get to carry out their unfinished business but are forced to leave anyhow.

Lovely song - morbid sure, but that just makes it that much more of a treasure.

  • To the beautiful Petra: thanks once again for sharing PJ endless repertoire of song and music.

  • Okay thanks! :)
