LOL, some of these comments are funny. I can understand why they'd post them, cuz if you have no experience with Dobermans (or dogs in general) the video could be misinterpreted. Anyways, I like the video, Lucy is a beautiful dog, and reminds me of my last Dobie :) I can tell she's a sweetheart and would never just attack anyone, not even if someone tells her to! Enjoy her to the fullest!

@becuziwasbored You are so correct on every count. If you notice, Alan, places his arm downward to encourage her to nip it. It as all a play and we had a great time making the video which apparantly shocked so many people.

Oh how the eccentrics make me laugh. If you only knew Lucy! She is 80 pounds of complete love and would never hurt anyone. This video is pure "perception". She would have chaced him anyway for fun. The "victim" held his arm down for her to "nip". We never trained her to do anything and if I ever said attack to her she would be dumbfounded! By the way, all the kids in the neighborhood can't wait to greet and pet her!

Why allow a dog to pierce skin for pure entertainment?? I enjoy Shutzhund or French Ring Training, but this is not safe :(

@LightYourDay Maybe this is just another generalization, but it seems that lots of owners of small dogs don't try to train them to behave themselves while most large dog owners do so to make them more "civilized".

It's obviously just for fun, but failing to discourage any dog to bite, even playfully, can mean one day the dog will accidentally pierce the skin on some kid, the parents will overreact and you will no longer have your dog.
