We humans are damned lucky animals don't join together, rise up and slay us.
My next dog will be a greyhound

I literally just cried. I own on of these 45mph couch potatoes, and seeing them "destroyed" breaks my heart. I couldn't ever imagine that happening. So sad.

@TheMorbidSideOfMusic Glad to hear that you are patient about your ordeal. So many youth (I assume you are, or at least early 20's) demand a pet and act childish when they can't get their way. Congrats on wanting to adopt these majestic animals. They are truly poetry in motion, running zoomies around a backyard and tossing stuffies around.

Great video ... although one photo was not of Greyhounds. I think they were Iggies.
But you are right ...they are gentle, sweet, loving, goofy couch potatoes. Our senior gal Anita is 10 years old and still going strong. She is a motherly figure to our newest adoption...a terrier mix that is only 15 pounds or so!

This was the video that made me decide, someday I'll rescue Greyhounds... as many as I can. Unfortunately, my parents don't approve of having a dog in the house, so I'll have to wait to save one of these majestic animals. I can't wait to meet my little angel someday... :')

Awww I cried. :'( I have two greyhounds right now, they're twin sisters, born in 2005, and didn't even make it to the puppy races. Then we adopted them from a nearby adoption center. We were going to only get one, but we couldn't separate them! We adopted them on Valentine's Day in 2008. Their racing names were Fame and Fanny (the litter was all F's) but we didn't like Fanny, obviously. So we changed Fanny's name to Fortune, and their names are Fame & Fortune. They will be 7 on September 5th. :)

I have 3 dogs right now and when they go on to doggie heaven, I will be adopting from my local shelter...I have no idea what breed my next furry friend will be, but he/she WILL be loved!!! I would love to be able to help a greyhound, they are such beautiful dogs.

It gets worse. Greyhounds are 2nd most unwanted. And first ... Staffordshire Bulk terriers. They are born to die. 85% of Battersea dogs homes intake in Staffs.
Dogs are so special. I don't understand why they still love us anymore...
WE ARE SAVAGES (well the bad ones are- most people are nice :) )
An excellent video to raise awareness, thank you!
