  • Wow. I hate listening to this song, especially when sung by Judy Garland, because it always makes me cry and I'm such a sap. But this was... woooow. I could listen to this over and over again.

  • 3:50 to the end is friggin amazing!!!!!!!!! god how i love Eden!

  • ya actually i already knew that.. but ive always thought that was downplaying Dorothy.. but the creators never wanted to put Dorothy in the musical.. Officially in the musical.. they always wanted to have her off stage.. like this is whats happening over here.. but the fact is .. the two intertwine .. and that is the one fault with Wicked.. but then again they couldnt because then fiyero, wouldnt make sense...because in reality ... They Redid the Scarecrow char. to fit their own storyline..

  • definitely agree...eva cassidy, may she rest in heaven, sang it so somber, beautiful and with just enough heart ache and longing.

  • umm this is amazing....

  • The 'Unlimited, the future is unlimited....' parts are with the melody of Somewhere over the Rainbow.

Seth Rudetsky tells that in one of his deconstructionvideos.

  • Une épine au Paradis ! ... ou ...une épine du Paradis ! ... çà touche nos coeurs !

  • love this eva cassidy version

  • ive always said ... wicked should have gotten the rights to this song... and the character of Elphaba should have sung a revamped version of this with the same melody... Fantastic

  • haha i just realized That!! damn im slow! haha

    lol

    i think shes amazing
