I don't think this is live, this is the original studio version played over footage... you can clearly tell.

There are many renditions of so many songs. How many artists do you think sang Unchained Melody? People are entitled to have a preference of which rendition they like. No-one is right..no-one is wrong. I would think the people who actually wrote the original songs would feel honored that they were remade..even years later..to keep their music known for future generations to come.
