Gut gespielt, langsam und gelassen genug. Ein bisschen mehr Dynamik wäre vielleicht auch ncht schlecht. Noch mehr mag ich das Stück, wenn die Solostimme ein Labial ist. Dann klingt es balancierter.

le tempo est tout à fait convenable.
j'ai plus de mal avec la registration choisie pour le chant du choral. Ce qui fait la beauté de cette pièce, c'est justement l'intimité, la retenue, la gravité du choral exposé à la voix basse. Choisir un jeu d'anche, c'est donc perdre tout cela...
il y a de si jolis fonds sur cet orgue...

Tempo slow.(Brahms didn't indicate one).
I wonder why he thinks that Brahms wrote a pulsating bass with EQUAL notes?
Where is the "longing" to "quickly leave the disagreable world"? Where is the desire that Jesus comes soon to meet him?
At this tempo, do we have the invitation to sing the choral? That's what choral preludes are supposed to inspire!
