  • love this, I've been checkn' out walk cycles tonight and this is the best i've seen so far, great work.

  • Nice walk cycle. It's great to see when cutout animation still can have that classic animated quality. Nice.

  • @jonlambe I only animated the walk/run cycles, and while doing that I added more arms, eyes, mouths, tails and legs to the library. It was really handy animating with it. And it was easy especially because the characters had no outline, really smart choice. After that I started storyboarding on the show.

  • @aleinatonna lol Its all good, did you help make the kits for these? if so thats so bad ass... The best character rig's ive ever seen for a show. Well thought out and it really was the best designed show for flash.

  • @jonlambe Fatcat, right! I felt like I was missing one ;)

  • @jonlambe haha, glad you enjoyed the kits man ;) where did you animate, Topdraw or StudioB?

  • @BillFugate The great part about animating with these characters was that they were made with just vector paint... no lines.. so you can move and meld all the pieces. Need an inbetween? just go bend that arm you made. And they were gold for shape tweening parts. Each part of the character was separated into several layers... hands ( palm and fingers) chest ( white spot, and black mass underneath) etc. Each part was then separated into a layer inside each symbol.

  • @BillFugate all flash mate :)

  • Smooth!
