For Sale: He is ready to be trained your way! He has been ridden in the round pen now and he has been bitted, saddled and sacked out. He was VERY calm no matter what I tossed on his back, including my scary big yellow rain slicker, which I tossed onto his neck numerous times. I believe he could even be a Cowboy Mounted Shooting prospect, with his build and temperament. The possibilities are pretty much endless with this boy. Leads, ties quietly, loves to be groomed, stands for farrier, easy to worm; easy to catch and always loaded quietly when trailered. He has not been hobbled, but he has had soft cotton rope looped around his feet and he could care less. This is a special gelding and should be a wonderful family horse.

Blackfoot ZHR has conformational balance and is a substantial stock horse type, cutting and working western bred 2A HAHR Registered creamy gold Buttermilk Buckskin Dun that is also a 75% Arabian / "Quarab" gelding with dun tiger stripe markings on his legs and a dorsal stripe. DNA color tested (before we gelded him) Ccr / Ee / Aa. He measures at 14.3h now and was foaled in January of 2008.

Eligible for entry in Half Arabian classes. If you like to compete for cash prizes, he can be eligible to compete in Half Arabian Cutting or Reining.

Check out http://www.arabian-cutting.org/content/forms.php for cutting info and

http://www.arha.net/arha-futurity/index.html for reining info.

He's extremely mild mannered and willing to do what is asked of him. His dam's "Half Arabian" maternal sister Kisatchie Belle won the Region 9 High Point Working Cow Horse Award and has a National and a Reserve Nat'l championship in Half Arabian / Working Cow Horse along with numerous Regional Ch's - last year she was winning at a National level and in TACHA in Cutting too. His purebred Arabian Grand-Sire was exported to France and has excelled in endurance.

AQHA lines tested HYPP N/N and HERDA N/N. TEXANS ONLY HOPE (his AQHA granddam) is an own daughter of halter champion AQHA/PHBA Golden Caantender. • I wanted him to get out and gallop, not circle me although that is what he wanted to do at first. I don't believe someone can get a true view of how and horse gallops if they are just moving in a small circle. He was close to the fence because the other colts were across from him. He was being sociable :)

  • how much do you want for this guy?

  • @widgetjazzybutt Did you get my answer your question about his price?

  • He is not engaged with you in the center and is trying to get as close to the fence as possible. I would be impressed if he was circling you half way to the fenceline and not looking over it.

  • @RidingBareback98 Well, someone may be buying him first, unless you can afford him. If they don't I'll get video of him being ridden when he is trained to carry a rider.

  • @RidingBareback98 Thanks. He is well behaved with the saddle on, but he hasn't been ridden yet as he is just a 3 yr old. But soon!!
