Libya's opposition and most of Libya's citizens want the no-fly zone and Western intervention. So does the Arab League. So this isn't some Western plot. It's an attempt to stop Gadafi from continuing to indiscriminantly bomb cities so he can retake control of the country and take a horrible revenge on his opponents.

Israel & the West supplied Zionist puppet Gaddafi with foriegn mercenaries & crowd control weapons to suppress the uprising by the people, this did not work so now they want to appear to be acting as the 'saviors' of the people against the puppet dictator they installed in the first place. I agree with John Rees, the Western Powers are not trying to 'assist' the revolution they are trying to STOP it so they can take back control of Libya , its resources & corperate profits.
