@AVerySillySausage Of course everyone has their own opinion about Hoffman, I find him a good character, Because he has that one thing that really fits Saw, I do not know what it is, but I find it really cool. The battle between him and Jill, great! But if I really have to choose someone who really has the 'Saw' spirit, then I will choos Doctor Gordon ;)

@CarchannelDK He had no morals or any real reasoning accept that he enjoys killing. He was able to go on as a police officer and look at people in the eye after he was recruited. He killed pretty much everyone and got away with it until the end including his friends who had been investigating the cases with him from the start. He even conspired to get amanda killed and if he wasn't all already going to die he would probably kill john as well. Short answer, he was a prick. How was he good?

@TheAllen1105 It's explained in the 3rd film that Amanda went back into the room and asphyxiated him with a plastic bag. He's dead as a doornail.

hoffman deserved that the most in my opinion, I was disappointed when he survived in the 6th film and am glad he finally got what was coming to him.
