The Ridley that never was

Short rant on Ridley not making the playable cut in Smash Brothers Brawl. I guess it was eventually to be expected from me huh? Uploaded just a week or so before the game came out as planned.

And, don't take offense to the mild language in the beginning of course.

Yeah. He was, unfortunately. Wish they had at least made up for it by putting him in the Wii version (MP Trilogy), but oh well.

Heh, exactly. All the exact same reasons that I, a fellow Ridley fan, have been giving for Ridley's playability in Brawl. Admittedly this video is a bit on the ranty/trolly side (aside from Ridley's playability, I can't find anything else to complain about in Brawl), though I have to agree that Ridley is really the only other Metroid character that deserves to be in Smash (Dark Samus would just be a clone, yeah?).

Now that Other M is out, they even have more reason to have him as playable character in the next SSB game. His stance and looks were perfect in Other M, and you just have to make him a bit smaller. Perfect ideas for attacks and the fans would love it. No excuse this time Nintendo.
