In June, 2007, Roswell Rudd and I spent 3 weeks in Mongolia made possible with a grant from the Trust for Mutual Understanding. The support was to enable us to continue the work with these superb Mongolian musicians - Badma Khanda, Battuvshin Baldentseren, Uruntugs Jamiyan which was released as BLUE MONGOL on Sunnyside - http://www.sunnysiderecords.com
Roswell and the band performed at the Festival of the Roaring Hooves in Ulan Batar which started off with a fashion show of contemporary Mongolian design.
Roswell, Tuvsho, and Odseren, Tuvsho's teacher and master throat singer, traveled and played at various sites including Khorin Khur Monastery, the first capitol of Mongolia, turtle rock, as well as sitting on a camel.
