@HappyFoxIsHappy DS1 was largely good because the complication(the little it had) came slowly so you always felt like you were doing something new.

I've always loved the town of Glacern... I went back to it after I finished the game and made it my new home town... XD

as monotonous as the killing spree was. The music and environments in this game were superb.

@HappyFoxIsHappy - Yes Dungeon Siege original is by far the best of the series. The landscape diversity, the atmosphere are just simply done with art. The simple mechanics and the clean design made it easy for me when to get into it . The experience system and the spells/abilities however were lacking diversity and interdependency which would have allowed for great combos which DS2 improved, but at the cost of nice landscape and atmosphere. Now what we need is DS1 atmosphere with DS combat.

Chris needs to make another Dungeon Like the original, DS2 had some nice features but the world in DS2 is boring. DS1 was very enjoyable. DS1 had all sorts of environments, jungles, forests, snowy mountains, desert towns. IIRC, LOA and DS2 were pretty much just jungles.
Reasons I loved DS1:
- Great music
- Great world and decent story
- Very expandable (Many mods)
- Lots of weapons and armor
- Easy to get into, not very complicated and confusing for new players.

one of the most beautiful games since T&L graphics cards were invented.
jeremy soule made another good soundtrack to fit a dreamy game.
