What happens when 13 filmmakers are given 48 hours to write, shoot and edit a film?

* 'Derail' took 11 hours to write, 13 hours to shoot, and 24 hours to edit (with six people working over a network to compile all the necessary visual effects in the least amount of time possible!)
* The score was recorded on a grand piano, next door to someone playing a Mozart concerto - at full volume. We had to wait for the 'pianissimo' parts to record our tracks.
* The crew got an average of 7 hours sleep all weekend.
* The Producer locked her keys in the car in a loading dock - as the deadline was approaching, several of the crew had to leave to plead with security not to tow the car!
