Last June I visited a beautiful fairy-tale like castle in Lower Austria. On that hot summer's day I went to the wine shop to get a good glass of wine and sat outside with a wonderful view of the castle. Also, they were preparing for a big gala-event so we were allowed to wander around the castle on our own with no tour guide.
If you ever visit it, then do go to the wine shop where you can also taste the wines before you drink or buy them. They are local wines, so very cheap but excellent quality!

I visited many countries in Europe but I don't know why Austria is dear to my heart.
anyways if you want to visit a real "fairy tale" like castle , visit the Neuschwanstein caslte in Fussen - Germany. it will seriously take your breath away!

Bettina, how true it is, what you said as the castle being almost fairytale like. With the added music I could imagine a beautiful ball with everyone dancing to the waltz. Thank you.
