ATARI ST V AMIGA DYNAMO (CAPTAIN)

This is Captain Dynamo on the Amiga 500 and Atari St. Just to show a difference between the two. I am a retro and modern gamer who enjoys games on many different computers and consoles. I think both versions of Dynamo are great, however i do think that the St has the best music, even though its soundchip is weaker. From a graphics point of view, both are near identical except the Amiga has some parralax scrolling. Which version do you prefer?.

Graphics - Amiga

Sound - Atari (while the amiga has undeniably better sound in some games, when things are equal, I never liked it's sound quality that much which sounds to me like an orchestra of oboes!)

Speed - Atari

Overall the Atari wins this one.

Title screen music AMIGA has the edge, In game AMIGA was boring music so that goes to ST.

Graphics goes to AMIGA, the multicoloured text and scrolling were great. In game graphics possibly go to the ST as it normally has better contrast.

Speed of intro goes to AMIGA, Speed of game goes to ST.

I guess they were both equal in this one.

The coloured background has been done on so many St game why not this? The intro with the balls has appeared in an ST demo too. The music although is repeats on the ST rocks! And it's only a MOD file? So it could have been done on the ST, It was only a budget title though.

Amiga version is far better than ST, it has better sound. Everything realised on amiga was way better :P
