  • My bullmastiff puppy got parvo but he survived!!

  • @amr8902 That is great news! Dr Sam

  • That is not how you pronounce "veterinarian."

  • @notefromself :) Just as there are many ways to treat a parvo patient, there are many ways to pronounce veterinarian. :) Dr Sam

  • My mom's dog died from this today. She didn't have the money to pay for the treatment and the vet refused payment plans. I sat with him for hours using a syringe to give him Pedialyte. I've been a bad owner have not yet gotten my own dog vaccinated, but I am tomorrow first thing. I'm terrified that my dog will get this or already has this, but this man's words have given me hope. I never want to see another dog suffer the way my mother's dog has. He was the sweetest dog and didn't deserve this.

  • @WeFoundAtlantis It's a very tough merciless disease...Thank you for your comment. Dr Sam

  • my 5 month old lab survived at home ttreatment of parvo. we were told she had very little chance of survival and to make things comfy for her. i gave her an at home iv, amoxicyllin shots, pedialyte, and syrup on her gums to help her blood sugar. i expect everyone to fight for their dog like this... dont give up.

  • my dog died because of parvo... :( my vet misdiagnosed my dog to gastritis, not knowing its parvo.

  • my great dane puppy reya has is one booster shot away from being fully vaccinated.. yesterday she thru up twice, today she diarrhea 5 times since, but hasnt vomitted since... she seems to be less active as well.. i have switched her food from taste of the wild food to performatrin so i expected some diarrhea, but the inactivity is what is concerning me... its been about 20 hours since her energy decline.. she did still run around with me when i got home but she sleeps once i stop

  • @JayFerell omg my dog was 4 mounth but luckily he lived

  • my dog had parvo and he lived thank god =)

  • @WalkersWonderland Parvo tests usually come up negative during early stages. It is best you get your ve tot treat him as soon as possible, if you havent done so already. You have my prayers.

  • My miniature schnauzer, Diesel, has parvo. He has went through this for a few days now. He is currently resting, but hes groaning in pain and breathing hard. He seems to be asleep, but wont move any part of his body. We have gave him sub q ringers fluid injections, pedialyte, and gave him some soft sore-stomach-friendly foods, but he is still in bad condition. To be such a wonderfully loved family dog, we dont want to lose him. Thank you, Doctor Sam, for your wise words. You've given us hope.

  • Our vet told us that our puppy was parvo-free but he has been getting even worse so when we went in again today it turned out he did have parvo. We think it may have been caused by the animal control center where he was being held in so he could get neutered. He was perfectly fine up until then.

  • I had a little puppy. he was only 4 months. He go the parvo disease. at first I thought he was just plain old sick. But when i took him into the vet he was seizing and they had to put him down. Im posting this on YouTube because i want to show that not all dog can get lucky
