C H A R I C E received the great honor to sing "Star-Spangled Banner, the American National Anthem" on April 13, 2009, during the pre-game opening occasion at the Dodger Stadium of Los Angeles USA in front of 57,099 (the largest attendance ever). A B2 Stealth Bomber flyover followed, Dodgers went on to demolish the San Francisco Giants 11-1.

It was the best national anthem rendition I have ever heard, better than the game, Russell Martin says later of 16-year-old Charice, tears in my eyes when she really gets going, Manager Joe Torre says.

you must be out of your freaking mind if you think demi lovato's version is much better than this one, i watched demi's performance of this anthem but it doesn't give any feelings or emotions but this filipina girl Charice Pempengco gave a beautiful and heartfelt rendition i've ever heard and she's not even an american..jeeeezzz
