The M-60 light machine gun is probably one of the most recognizable firearms because of its influence in the Vietnam war. It fired the heavy 7.62 x 51mm rifle round. It can still be seen today and used in our military such as the Navy Seals

  • When was the Vietnomnom war?

  • @Vlaxerman343 Actually if there was a round in the chamber because of a jam it could cook off and fire several minutes later. I saw one fire off by itself 15 minutes after being used on a live fire exercise. The barrel was facing into the ground when it went off. No one was hurt, just startled.

  • @maxgrbesa только неудачная копия. м60 - полный отстой. как и м16. таскать с собой кучу запасных стволов. маленькая песчинка - и привет.

  • That must feel so bizarre having the safety flip upward to shoot instead of vice versa.

  • @maxgrbesa u mean FG42

  • M 60 is,copy of german mg 42

  • @Vlaxerman343 I never had that problem with the weapon I carried and I put a lot of rounds down range with it in various weather and dirty conditions.

  • @palonejr I heard the m60 had a problem where it sometimes still fired even after you let go of the trigger, is that true?
