A camp for West Virginia children with cancer or bleeding disorders hosted by the West Virginia University Department of Pediatrics.
"The only one of its kind in West Virginia, Camp Winaca and HemoVon is free for the campers thanks to our individual and corporate sponsors. Twenty-four hour medical supervision is provided by West Virginia University medical faculty and volunteers who make sure kids at the camp are okay and having lots of fun.
Even though staff members volunteer their time and services, holding a week-long camp for kids with special health needs is an expensive project. All medical supplies and equipment, insurance and transportation, and camping program expenses such as meals, recreation equipment and supplies are provided without charge to the campers."
i miss all of you at camp so much, hope to see you all next year if i remember the dates. I love you guys.
