Star Wars - X-Wing - Gameplay

Playing a "bonus" mission from X-Wing (1993).

You will see differences between X-Wing and later games like Tie-Fighter. There is no 3D model in your targeting computer and also when you target an enemy it only glows red for a short time. This made it a "little" difficult for me to find gunboats to kill.

This is from the "Collectors Edition" with digital voices. I had to quit right at that point, youtube´s 11 minute limit ... ya know.

I remember completing my mission, getting ready hyper jump back when more Imperial ships arrived, then thought, "Fuck this shit! I'm the badass RED 2 who will take on this weak Imperial Fleet." Stayed, destroyed all the frigates and Star Destroyers, and returned with a much higher rank!

Also, there were times where I would have panic attacks trying to hyper jump away from numerous Tie-Fighters, only to make it out just in time with the controls and switches all damaged. Whew!

I was 10 when they released it... so many memories! This game was HUGE, about 15 Mb!! And I just keep listening to the music without stop. Thank you for the video!
