I personally prefer the Sentai's war machines to be shaped like humans or animals. It allows more more imaginative fight scenes. There is only so much an action director can do with cars.
But, of course, the Carrangers need a thematically appropriate set of vehicles in order to FIGHT FOR TRAFFIC SAFETY! So, it's okay in this case. :-)

I just purchased the Japanese version of the Turbo Megazord, and I realized that the 2 on Blue Vehicle (AKA Mountain Blaster) is upside down when in Megazord formation. Its not a bootleg since the box is the Bandai of Japan box, but I just found it odd.
Great review though, RV Robo was one of my favorite megazords
