my grandpa caught one that was 5 ft long and 80 pounds here in south carolina. i caught one 45 pounds too. but its a nice catch

@lewisC3627 Don't underestimate them! I have heard of people being knocked completely unconcious in teh commercial catfish ponds.

Those things get excited and they will jump like crazy if you surprise them. I have a friend who is a fish farmer that has gotten some pretty serious briuses from grass carp ramming him while he is seining a pond.
