@cornbruiser Even if the military application was irrelevant, people still hvae limbs removed from accidents that occur during everyday life

@blahbar i'm pretty sure. That's how healthcare works in the U.S.A.

It's cool and all, but the kind of agility those bionic arms on Star Wars or the Auto Mail on Full Metal Alchemist is what I'm looking for. Not some slow working home use only piece of metal. And IF they do make it out on the battle field, they really gotta work on how fast the robotics go. I is not pleased. T_T

How many foot-pounds can that arm exert?

"Like what?" (She ACTUALLY pressed him on it.)
"Pick up a banana."
I'm sorry but I just keep thinking of that episode of Red Dwarf where Lister loses his hand.

Me too! It was during the FIRST Championship in 2007. I had my operator button signed by him.

Is there any dates in mind for this to go to the public?
Yeah, meanwhile we're working on the technology to blow limbs off with greater efficiency. How about a technological solution from the Pentagon to stop them from creating amputees in the first place?

How on earth do videos like this slip through the cracks on youtube and receive hardy any attention, it just blows my mind. The question that crosses my mind when I see medical tech like this is how much will it cost? Will poor people still have the hook while the rich get bionic limbs?
