@ezekielthemack Your reply shows your lack of exposure. But to each his own. Like I said in another post, I have seen both live and AHs a capella is NOT impressive at all. (His background singer was better and I think everyone there knew it.) CW over sings which can be annoying, but he starts pitch perfect for the alto range which some men have a hard time doing.
I encourage you to see opera on a regular basis. You would have different views of ability if you did.

@SuavecitoBro2 Have seen both live and CW has a richer voice and better vocal range. And CW is pitch perfect for the alto range. Anthony Hamilton is a studio singer and that's not an awful thing. AHs a capella wasn't as impressive as I thought it would be. CW over sings sometimes, but that's part of his signature.
And for the record, singing with soul is an over used phrase.
