**UPDATE= iv added the times my new pc gets**
useful for those who need help with yafaray's render methods.
the same scene rendered with all the different methods of lighting- photon mapping, pathtracing etc.
it gives you an idea of how each method turns out and how long it takes on a average pc.
my favorite is photon mapping because as you can see it is nice quality and it is relatively fast compared to pathtracing.
if you want a quick render of how the scene will turn out with photon mapping you should choose bidirectional because of its low render time.
note:
for anyone interested to work out how long it will take to render 250 frames in hours i did the following:
time of one frame (in seconds) x how many frames in the animation
this answer will be in seconds if you want minutes divide by 60 and for hours divide by 60 again.
