Don't Turn Around Alejandro Remix

My wife has been listening to Lady Gaga's "Alejandro" a lot lately, and I've been trying to figure out what it reminds me of. I finally landed on Ace Of Base's "Don't Turn Around", and was shocked by the similarities. I personally enjoy Lady Gaga, so this isn't a swipe at her. Even in my own music, I've "borrowed" ideas from bands I love, shaping them into something of my own. I've seen other videos on YouTube pointing out this Alejandro/Don't Turn Around thing, but I thought I'd post the mix I made in Virtual DJ. I put NO real effort into this, it's just basically sliding between the two, with a little looping and cue point stuff. The crazy part, though, is that I didn't really HAVE to do anything...I had to sync the bpm a little, but there's no pitch correction or anything...it just dropped right in there like this! 2011 UPDATE: Hey. I haven't listened to this since I posted. Yeah, it's a pretty bad mix, I spent about ten minutes making it on Virtual DJ, I have no idea how to mix songs, and I didn't even know the word "mashup" when I made it, so you can all relax. The sound peaks out a lot, the mixing is sloppy, thanks, yeah. I gotcha.

I don't hate Lady Gaga, I don't think it sounds EXACTLY like "Don't Turn Around", I just think they kind of work together in an interesting way.

Note to any "DJ" coming on here and trashing my mix/telling people to listen to their mixes: Sad. Very sad.
