Former Heavyweight Scott LeDoux who fought 11 heavyweight champions is in the fight of his life against ALS. LeDoux candidly talks about his life and his disease and the concert for awareness on April 10th featuring Jimi Jamison (former lead singer of Survivor), Alex Ligertwood (former lead of Santana), Fergie Frederiksen (formerly of Toto) and Frank Stallone...who is a good friend of LeDoux.

Alex Ligertwood, who was the 16 year voice of SANTANA will sing "Winning" "Hold on" "All I ever Wanted", "Black Magic Woman" "Evil Ways" and more. Fergie Frederiksen, former lead of TOTO will sing "Hold the Line" "Africa" "I'll supply the Love" and "Rosanna". Frank Stallone will sing "Far from Over" as well as several other hits.

I know Scott, and I know what an amazing person he is outside of the ring. He and Carol are like another set of grandparents to me, and if anything happens to Scott, it will be like a K.O in the ring to me and my family. We love you Scott, and if worse comes to worse, we will make it a point to make sure than EVERYONE remembers what an exceptional person that you are! We love you!

Scott Ledoux Stood toe to toe with the best heavyweight boxers in the world. I remember him like it was yesterday, and always admired his fighting spirit. it is quite obvious, that he still has the fighting spirit, and I wish him and his family nothing but the best, and offer my prayers as Scott is fighting the toughest battle of his life.

When I worked in local television a long time ago, we covered Scott's fight against Larry Holmes in Minneapolis. Scott would probably be the first to admit that he got a pretty good whupping that night, but he couldn't have been more gracious and kind after the fight. A true gentleman and a class act. Always has been, always will be. I wish him the best.

My dad was a fighter. I am not interested in boxing at all and had never heard of Scott before watching this video. He really comes across as a good guy. I will meet with my friend Alex in 10 days and will mention Scott to him. I wish Scott all the best. It is really inspiring to hear him talk and be thankfuly for his life. That's a fantastic lesson for us all. Scott, I am sure you'll make everyone proud in your fight against ALS.

On May 5, 2005, my cousin was diagnosed with this and she died on Dec. 27, 2007. She fought this tooth and nail and there is no doubt that Scott will, too. Scott, I know that you are looking at a bigger opponent than you ever faced in the ring, but being the person that you are, I know that you are taking the attitude of Not Without a Fight! My cousin had that same attitude. I'm praying for you and I hope that the whole country does, too. Keep the faith and the fight.
