CRUISING ON A JONAS BROTHERS LOVE STORY SEQUEL chp 36

[Kevin jumped out of the cab once it stopped in front of the airport. He searched frantically, trying to find Sam. So many people were blocking his way as he yelled out Sam's name. Was he too late? Did she leave already? Kevin pushed these questions away as looked at everyone's face that passed him by. Kevin was just about to call it quits when he saw her looking at magazines in a shop, looking frustrated]
SAM: [To herself] Why do the Jonas Brothers have to be on every cover?
KEVIN: Cause we're pretty popular.
SAM: Kevin? What are you doing here?
KEVIN: Trying to stop you from getting on the plane.
SAM: I have to go—
KEVIN: Sam, I'm sorry for bringing Gabby along-it was stupid-and I'm sorry I've been so... blind. I don't want you to go.
SAM: What are you saying?
KEVIN: I want to be with you.
SAM: Why?
KEVIN: Because you know me better than anyone. And you know I won't leave you this time.
SAM: You left me once.
KEVIN: And I won't do it again.
SAM: Do you really expect me to trust you?
[Sam's voice was still doubtful, but he knew he was getting through to her]
KEVIN: I'll wait for you to. We've been through a lot, and I don't want this to end us.
SAM: I've still got to go...
[Kevin was about to protest but she stopped him]
SAM: But I'll meet up with you guys back in LA.
KEVIN: You promise you won't hide out in Boston?
SAM: I promise.
[Kevin hugged Sam tightly and let her get on her flight because he knew things were going to get better between them. It was only now that he finally realized what he had with her]

[When Kevin got back to the hotel he passed by Joe's room and heard him talking with Sheryll]
JOE: You don't have to go yet.
SHERYLL: Joe, I do. I've already missed everything but the last rehearsal, and it's important if I want to keep modeling.
JOE: You don't have to model.
SHERYLL: I'll come back right after and just stick to projects close to home. I already said by to Nick and Sarah before they went out walking.
[Joe wanted to stall because he didn't want to see her leave]
JOE: Does it really have to be now?
SHERYLL: [Smiling] I'll be back in 3 weeks.
[Sheryll opened the door and found Kevin listening in on their conversation]
KEVIN: Uh, hi.
JOE: Hey Kevin.
KEVIN: I talked to Sam before she left.
[Sheryll's hostile expression didn't change]
SHERYLL: Good.
[Sheryll turned around and faced Joe]
SHERYLL: I'll call you once my plane lands.
JOE: Ok. I'll walk you downstairs.
[Sheryll's luggage was waiting in the limo outside. Sheryll didn't say bye to Kevin as she and Joe walked past him]

[Nick and Sarah walked in Time Square, hand in hand. Nick wore a hat and big sunglasses to keep the paps away. Luckily it was crowded and no one was paying attention to them]
NICK: So Sam's not mad at Kevin?
SARAH: Nope.
NICK: Does that mean they're together again.
SARAH: I don't know. They're complicated.
NICK: Yeah. We all knew Joe would end up with Sheryll.
SARAH: They're sweet together.
NICK: Do you remember when we went on vacation together?
SARAH: [Smiling] Of course, you don't have to remind me thousands of times. I don't know how you convinced my parents to let me go.
NICK: It wasn't easy.
SARAH: Why do you bring it up?
NICK: Cause I want to go on another vacation—just us 2. We can go during our weeklong break.
[Sarah was going through all the places they could visit in her head, but then reality brought her back down]
SARAH: School, remember?
NICK: Oh. Ugh. I always forget.
SARAH: [Laughing] Next time. Right now, let's just enjoy having no cameras pointed at you.
NICK: [Smiling] I do love this feeling.
[Nick held on tighter to Sarah's hand]

[Sarah and Gabby stayed for the boys' last concert in New York. Sarah mostly stayed to be with Nick, but Sheryll had asked her to keep an eye on Gabby. Joe was on the phone with Sheryll]
JOE: How is it over there?... Well, make sure you wear a jacket whenever you go out. And don't stay out to late.
[Sarah could hear Sheryll laughing at Joe's requests on the other line]
SARAH: Joe, you're not her Dad.
NICK: That's just how we Jonas' take care of our girls.
SARAH: [Smiling] I've noticed.
[Joe hung up the phone, sighing loudly, over exaggerating the action]
KEVIN: She'll be back home soon.
JOE: I know, but I wish I could've gone with her. I haven't been able to go to a single one of her fashion shows.
NICK: Why don't you surprise her with a visit?
JOE: What about the tour?
SARAH: You guys have a week of rest time.
JOE: I don't know. I might not want to come back here if I have too much fun over there with her.
KEVIN: [Whispering] Then don't come back.
JOE: What Kevin?
KEVIN: Then you should just patiently wait for her to come back.
JOE: Ugh.
NICK: Come on guys. We have to do a meet and greet.
SARAH: Have fun. We'll wait here. I don't think I can handle all those screaming girls for a thousandth time.
[Nick laughed and followed his brothers out of their dressing room]
