I am finishing the acoustic treatment . My interested in a dynamic is since the room would be acoustically treated but not sound isolated and condensers are too sensitive.
I decided to purchase a Heil Sound PR 40 I have also read good reviews and comparisons with the RE20.
People keep the good work; I would add you to MySpace to keep in touch and reveal my project studio once it get more in shape.

The studio beat sounded good.
Guys whats your take on the Electro-Voice RE20 for recording vocals for songs? I have heard good review on the mic., but since you guys tested, whats you opinion?
I am doing some research because I dont have an isolated room for recording and the condensers that I have use are great but since they are condensers they are too sensitive and capture every outside sound possible.
Any help is appreciated and keep the good work.
Word you guys got it going on down there. I'm at metalworks but our Icon room doesn't have a vocal booth

Thanks for the comment. The RE20 is a nice choice for vocals especially for being a dynamic mic. Its clean and flat and doesn't color the signal unlike other condensers. But without proper sound isolation, you may pick up ambient noise from the sides of the mic; the RE20 was initially made to be intended as a kick drum mic, and picks up signals from the sides of the mic as well as from the front (as you can see from the side vents and size). Spend the money on controlling your room acoustics.
