  • @tonchibear Un claro ejemplo es Urdangarin ;)

  • The people calling for Spain to drop their monarchy are not Spaniards. The monarchy is immensely popular there. Know why? They are far less corruptible than politicians. Corruption they can only lose from, not gain.

I am American, and have lived in Spain...I promise you constitutional monarchy is a superior form of government; perhaps America's greatest mistake (among our many).

  • @SamhainTheDark, The 2nd Republic did not forced the Spanish monarchy into exciled. King Alfonso XIII went into exiled on his own and the 2nd Republic was stablished. Actually who keep the Royal family out of Spain was Franco himself. Don Juan, Juan Carlos' father lived in Portugal until Franco's death at which time he moved to Barcelona and accepted his son as king in order to save the crown from other family members like Franco's son in law.

  • @tonchibear, I agree with you the monarchy is popular, but to say the people calling to end it are not Spaniards is something alse. A lot of Spaniards are calling to end to it. Look at the king's son in-law and the king himself for that matter. See in you tube 30 anos a cuerpo de rey. The royal couple don't share the same bedroom since Franco died because of the king's many afairs. A new book came out talking about what is going on with the royal family and its not nice.

  • @Verabadthings ya, ya lo sé, el comentario era irónico. con lo de "con dos cojones" quería referirme a que el tío se queda tan pancho al decir que era ruso.

  • @SamhainTheDark Oh, so those pictures of the guy looking like Juancito holding hands with the generalísimo were generated on don Francisco's holodeck to create the illusion that he had anointed him crown prince and that Juancito was just luuuvin' it? Coulda fooled me.

  • @fctchk You mean when the Spanish monarchy was exiled and abolished by the Second Spanish Republic which put Franco in charge in the first place? Yes, I imagine you would have some sympathy for a government who forced you and your entire family out of your own country.

  • @SamhainTheDark What your "thinking" clearly missed is the 40 years the monarchy spent fellating Franco's fascist dictatorship.

  • @tonchi Less corruptible? The monarchy was allied with fascist dictator Franco during and after the Spanish Civil War in which 500000 were killed and most of the massive atrocities carried out by the fascists. Juan Carlos backed Franco's regime until his death and upon seeing the writing on the wall hopped on the democracy bandwagon therewith preserving his family's sumptuous privileged parasitic lifestyle.

Thanks for display of typical American tin ear to the facts of history.

  • @tonchibear I wish many more Americans thought like you and I.

  • a ver la reina sofia habla casi todos los idiomas del mundo , una vez dijo que hablaba16 idiomas

  • @tonchibear The Spanish media have reported how some royal members in Spain misuse tax dollars, you stupid cunt. Read newspapers. Also, if you are an American, who the fuck are you to say those Spaniards who reject monarchy are not Spaniards? You rude cunt. Not everybody around the world has to listen to Americans. Go fuck yourself.
