I DON'T speak gaelic so I'm sure my pronouncing is crap!! LOL Sorryyyy for those who DO speak it..
I LOVE Braveheart and this song so much (and singing too), that I wanted to make a tribute of my own.. I do know I'm not perfect and I actually got quite emotional when singing this..
I think the lyrics could be what Murron would like to say to Wallace and vise versa. I didn't sing the last verse, since the gaelic lyrics were too hard to pronounce!! o_O Thanks for listening and watching, I truly appreciate it.
1)How sorrowful I am
When I rise early in the morning,
Ò hì I would walk with you.
Hì ri bhò.... o hò,
Brown-haired Alan, Ò hì, I would walk with you
2)If the sand be your pillow,
If the seaweed be your bed,
Ò hì I would walk with you
Hì ri bhò.... o hò,
Brown-haired Alan, Ò hì, I would walk with you
3)If the fish are your candles bright,
If the seals are your watchmen,
Ò hì I would walk with you
Hì ri bhò.... o hò,
Brown-haired Alan, Ò hì, I would walk with you

History of the song: Allan Morrison was a sea captian from the isle of Lewis.
In the spring of 1788 he left Stornoway to go to Scalpay, Harris, where he
was to marry Annie Campbell. Unfortunately they sailed into a storm and
all the crew sank with the vessel. This is the lament she composed. The
broken-hearted Annie wasted away through grief and died a few months
afterward. Her body was washed ashore near where her fiance's was found.
NOTE! My vocal inspiration comes from women, who have strong vibratos, such as Desree, Beyonce, Lisa Gerrard, etc. I'm NOT a classical singer, I fuse together different styles ;)
It's the little things which make your voice perfect, no computer aided crap no fancy design studio, the fact it's pure talent, and your own voice and soul put into your work.
