I didnt know this at the time (found out soon after this video) that he has a serious fear of pooping on the potty. He is seeing a specialist in the next week or two because he has started having rectal prolapses on a regular basis. We no longer poop in the potty for now. We need to resolve this issue first.

I dont have any good advice, but I'll ask around, my suggestion is to put him in pull ups and want for him to decide to use the pot for #2.

You know just last week I got him to go. I have him stand on the toilet seat and squat like a little indian child does when they go in the dirt...and he goes just fine!! It looks odd but atleast no more wasting diapers. He still doesnt like to do it but if hes gotta go...then he has no choice as far as im concerned =)

My son is the same he won't go on the potty he just runs away so I got a straps and don't let him off till he goes and its working

The fear only comes from you constantly telling him to go.Leave the poor lad alone and let him do it in his own time.

i took child development classes && my teacher told us to have him poop then reward him afterwards. :] hope this helps.
