Student fragt J. Kerry nach Skull and Bones - Elektroschock

Am 17. September, war Senator John Kerry zu einem Diskussionsforum in die Universität von Florida (UF) eingeladen worden. Im Hörsaal waren Mikrofone aufgebaut, jeder der Anwesenden hatte die Möglichkeit, offen seine Fragen an den Senator zu richten.

Das tat auch der Student Andrew Meyer. Er wollte unter anderem von Kerry wissen, wie es bei den Präsidentschaftswahlen 2004 in Florida zur massiven Einschüchterung von Wählern und zum Wahlbetrug kommen konnte. Immerhin war es John Kerry selbst, der durch die Manipulationen um die Präsidentschaft gebracht worden war. Weiter wollte Meyer wissen, warum es damals keine Bestrebungen gab, ein "Impeachment" (Amtsenthebung) gegen Bush einzuleiten.

Aber er stellt anscheinend die falschen Fragen. Meyer hält ein Buch von Greg Palace hoch und ruft Kerry zu, er hätte die Präsidentschaftswahlen 2004 gewonnen. Warum hat er nichts gegen Bush unternommen?

In diesem Augenblick heißt es, seine Fragezeit sei vorbei. Nachdem der Student auf seine Fragen und vor allem auf eine Antwort von Kerry besteht, stellt man das Mikro ab. Doch Meyer spricht unbeirrt mit erhobener Stimme weiter. Er ruft "Impeach Bush" und stellt die Frage, ob Kerry Mitglied der Geheimloge "Skull and Bones" sei. Plötzlich stürmen Polizisten in den Saal und nehmen ihn fest. "Was habe ich getan?", ruft Meyer immer wieder. Er wehrt sich im ersten Moment nicht, als ihm aber klar wird, dass er verhaftet werden soll ('are you arresting me?'), protestiert er und will sich den Griffen der Polizei entziehen.

Sie packen ihn, schleppen ihn in den hinteren Teil des Hörsaals und überwältigen ihn. Mittlerweile sind 19 Polizisten um ihn herum, Meyer leistet keinen Widerstand. Als er bereits am Boden liegt, stürzen sie sich auf ihn und richten eine Elektroschock-Pistole auf ihn. Wiederholte Male wird er mit Hochspannung (17.500 V bis 50.000 V ) beschossen - "getasert". In dem Video ist nicht zu überhören, welche schrecklichen Schmerzen Meyer dabei zu erleiden hat.

Watch the Youtube video "Andrew Meyer tased, justifiably so ..." & read the description & links on that page. The vid is the most complete 1 up & includes witness statements. The links include the article "What Youtube Doesn't Show" by UF Professor Dennis Jett, who moderated the event, the transcript that shows Kerry's long answer to Meyer's questioning, official police reports, etc.

@nolekulikali he's not being arrested for speaking at all. Read the witness reports, the transcript where Kerry answers Meyer in detail, "What Youtube Doesn't show" where the moderator Dennis Jett explains what Meyer did off of camera, or watch "Andrew Meyer tased, justifiably so ...". If the argument is that taser laws should be changed, that's 1 thing, but if the argument is that he was arrested for saying controversial things, that isn't supported by evidence at all.

@chritch87 Why would you defend him? Do you realize he was kicked out for shoving people, cussing students, grabbing the mic to interrupt abnother student, etc, and that they even kept the Q&A open longer & let him speak out of turn before trying to escort him out (for the 2nd time - he fought the 1st time too)? The students are actually cheering his removal if you watch the video. He wasn't even being arrested at first, only made to leave. He's putting on a show.

@PLDGOR The fact that people are cheering & laughing (not to mention the witness reports, transcripts, statement from the Professor who moderated the event, etc) indicates that they were not outraged at all. Interesting that the actual witnesses to the event had little to no sympathy for him at all. I wouldn't have either, as they allowed him to ask his questions despite already being told to leave & it not even being his turn in line& gave him plenty of chance to walk out peacefully.

sobald der Wiederstand in europa auf so ein Maß wächst werden wir, mit den selben konsequenzen für unsere Fragen rechnen müssen ... ist doch einfach nur eine Schande und sowas wird auch noch von Steuergeldern bezahlt ...
