"Hey, look over there! A three headed monkey!"

This is an attempt to exhaust all possible ways to lose in King's Quest VI. Part 8 shows a few of the ways to get caught in the Castle of the Crown during the short path (i.e. using Beauty's Clothes to get in the castle). Unlike Part 7, all of these clips do in fact lose the game.

Notice how "Bay" and "Wolf" keep trading names and voices (as do "Jowels" and "Mite" in the east hallway).

When I group several clips together, that means each of the clips has the same result from that point onward, and I show that result only on the last such clip.

For more details on how I sort out the clips, see Part 1.

  • Why did you skip all death messages exept the last one?

  • @NessLover94 They're all exactly the same.

  • I wonder why the change in saladin calling you a 'foreigner' at one point and then calling you by name at another point.

  • @Rainbowdragon2 There's an optional sequence near the beginning of the game where you have a chance to meet him. This is what determines whether he knows you by name.

  • Hey Shady, do u remember 'The girl in the tower' song that was included on the CD version as part of the sound track?

  • Yes. Why?

  • I know another death for this part. If you hide once where the painting is the dogs

will pass by you, then take the painting down and take the nail, then when they

tell you that the dogs are coming hide again and instead of saying "sorry I was

just looking at it," he just says "sorry," then the dogs takes Alex away.

  • hahaha. Salad-in. *is six years old*

  • One of the dogs sounds like Don Knotts or somebody similar.

  • MITE LOOK AT THIS!!!

  • What exacaly about Alexander screams "I Am A Terorist," again? You know, Besides the fact he's sneaking about in a castle, and has been bouncing about the islands solving everyone's problems.

  • @shadyparadox Tony Jay played the insane asylum owner in Beauty and the Beast and Judge Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
