  • I have the sales brochures from the 70's mailed to me from Europe!

  • @JSneaker .... ooh you tease. would love to see a copy of that! hint hint !!! :-)

Weekend just gone saw this dryer and the matching washer installed for a stint of being daily drivers.

Have uploaded two vids of the washer already and have two more washer and one of this dryer to upload over the next few days.

  • @matchbox3236h I am sorry, I do not mean to be a tease at all. I have the single-page, color brochures of these Bendix machines made in Italy. I have a LOT of brochures I picked-up at many stores in France and England all three times I went in '84, '85 & '86.

  • @JSneaker :-) I know you dont mean to tease. Its annoying but when I was a nipper I had loads of brochures, but they all got turfed out many many years ago.

Picking your brains a bit - what model numbers of these machines have you got brochures for?

I ask cause there were many different versions - some pure Philco Bendix and others that had been Merloi-ised and I am trying to fathom out which is which.

Any help gratefully received - no worries of you cant help though. Enjoy the vids.

  • I thought that it was wobbling a bit while it was tumbling. Doesn't it do reverse tumble? Thanks for uploading.

  • combination of my unsteady camera work, plus it wasnt balanced on one of its feet.

Single direction machine. I dont know whether bendix did a reversing one in this early to mid 1980s series of machines.
