  • In 1989 Annette was doing a nationwide concert tour with Frankie Avalon. I had the pleasure of attending one of these concerts when they came to my town. She was having trouble with MS for 2 years, but was keeping it secret from the public at the time. At one point during the concert Annette went to leave the stage. Frankie asked her "Where are you going?" She replied: "To make peanut butter sandwiches!" Frankie responded: "Make mine with linguini!" :-) God bless Annette. God bless Frankie too.

  • @classicphile - Amen to that...I remember her guest appearance on Full House around that time (1990), and even after watching it in reruns years later, I never would've guessed what she was dealing with!

  • @TheStanbabe I disagree with you 100%.

  • As much as I love you Annette, man and woman cannot live on Skippy peanut butter alone.

  • HMM; six comments here only ? s u s p i c i o u s !
  • And Sugar is what Annette has...personaly-wise./ That is why. we love her so much!

  • Sorry to disapoint you..Ms.Funicello..but.."Skippy"peanut butter contains sugar and other unhealthy things..which can cause heart problems.

  • Note to self: Peanut butter causes MS.

  • So cute.....A beautiful lady....Inside...Out...I would always watch her commercials...*
