In this video I give a short tour and test drive of a 2001 Chrysler Sebring LX 2.7. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I show the car idling as well as take it on a thorough test drive through the city and highway on various surfaces. A thorough drive of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

  • @FantomLightning that is a great engine when it is properly maintenanced, but like most people, getting an oil change is not thier top priority and dont understand how important it is.

  • I think the problems with the 2.7 are overblown, as it will last as long as you know how to maintain it properly. The problems with the 2.7 start and end with the water pump, which needs to be replaced at no later than 80,000 miles. Replace the timing chain tensioner with the revised one put out by Chrysler, and replace the PCV every three years. Follow those three steps and you will have nothing to worry about.

  • I didn't see the oil light come on when he first turned on the key

  • the transmission on the 2001-2006 2001-2005 (Coupe) Chrysler Sebring/

    Chrysler Cirrus (in Mexico)

    Transmission

    5-speed manual

    4-speed 41TE automatic

  • @aBBlade1 oh, so then, thank You for your answer Sir ;)

  • @Jakeman21642, i have an 02 with the 2.7 and it is rock solid, the only issue ive had is the standard water pump issue. u have no clue bout engines sir. this motor is a rock, if you maintain it. just like everybody else says. cant stress that enough, take care of your motors!!

  • @b00giemanXxX , thats normal, and its the microphones fault. i own an 02 and it has the same sound. not a problem

  • Excuse me, one question, is that normal when the car sounds like this ? (1:32 ) sounds like it will break in a minute ;)

  • @Jakeman21642 A major exaggeration. ANY engine is prone to failure if maintenance is ignored, some more so than other. Change the oil in standard intervals and maintain your fuel system and sludge won't be an issue. Do you know how poorly most people maintain their cars?

  • The 2.7 is a complete pos! Probably the worst engine ever made! I would be amazed if this car is still on the road today.

  • @7477238 So true.
