The singing is too "pretty". It doesn't have any soul behind it, and little shop is about soul. This wasn't very good for a college production. Sorry, it didn't do it for me.

The problem with Little Shop is that it's designed for a very small cast, which just isn't possible in a school or college environment. There's 5 parts and 3 chorus parts. The actors are ''doubled-up'' for the other parts in professional productions.

The show doesn't just suit having a massive ensemble performing every number, but there's nothing you can really do about it.

As I'm sure you're very aware, every catty would-be actress or director loves to leave scathing criticism despite the fact most of their egos are bigger than their talent. Don't let anything convince you otherwise - this is a good number. It's not "professional", but not every cast has the option of a young Tisha Campbell. Frankly, this is better than quite a few versions I've seen.

The performance itself is not bad at all. What people seem to have a problem with is that it's not true to the original show in that it's not as personal. But your obviously not performing the whole show, so I don't see the problem all that much. You're just performing the songs, not the show.

Everyone has their opinions, and my opinion on this is that you all did very well. Some people don't realise how hard it is to get up on stage and sing, we're doing little shop of horrors at my school and im playing Mr Mushnik (and im a girl) haha im looking forward to it but it'll be a challenge!;-)

I know excatly what this person is tyring to say about no soul. where is the voice? where is the emphasism on the voices? there not strong enough. the voices are yet to simple. this show isnt a cabert fancy show its a depth dramatic show, with strong characterization, less of the ensmble in this scene and focus on the principal girls.

well i dont care what other people here think, i was very impressed, its well put together, i'm a musical theatre student myself and this was great. keep up the good work guys xD ignore the haters, they're just jealous cos they dont have the courage to go up on stage and do what you guys have done :) in musical theatre you're always gonna get a big ol' bunch of bitches xD it's like some kinda unwritten law or something xD

At the beginning it's sort of hard to understand the lyrics, even though we all know what they are. Also the whole time it is VERY cluttered and sometimes the main actors get drowned out.

i disagree completely with EvenOz85.. this a fantastic cast u have.. singing is very good. its entertaining!
