I had an otherwise cool teacher in high school who told us exactly what Kendall said about AIDS. I wish I'd known about this speech back then, and been considerably less shy, because I would have responded with this!

Does anyone else notice or realize that shows from the 80's like Designing women and Golden Girls both took on world issues they challenged the AIDS epidemic, took on national health care (lack there of) Gay rights, they spoke out against war, domestic violence against women and children, single parents. Not only the actors but the producers and writers were very bold and brave, made for some GREAT television. The true Irony is twenty years later we are still arguing about the same topics!.

One of my favorite episodes. I believe this episode should be shown in schools, religious classes, etc. It's very sad that their are people who think the way Julia's friend does. Also, people Don't understand that Pro-Choice is pro-abortion. It's not!
