In 2002, the city of Mexico, Mo. — population 11,000 — fell victim to an all-too-familiar storyline across the United States: dominant industry in town folds, leaves hundreds unemployed, sets town's identity adrift. In this story, we explore how Mexico responded and whether "Brick City" will ever be the same.
