  • these bumpers are a special edition ...

  • Very nice! Good choice with the wheels too, they complement the car quite well.

  • I think I love you

  • Dass ist der absolude traumwagen

  • Love this car! *-*

  • nice to see a 4dr. ht. i could never understand why so many people shun 4 doors. the hardtop designs, particularly, always had a sleek, sharp profile. 2 doors are great, but it's nice to shake it up at a car show with a 4 dr. in a sea of 2 drs. i own a black (orig. paint), 65 Impala 4 dr. like yours and get lots of + comments. to rhblakeman: the lower bumper "protectors" were 65s version of bumper guards. unusual in concept and design, they were optional in 65 only.

  • I like it!!

Seems like I also see a lot of '65 missing a chrome strip on the trunk right on the edge to match the silver trunk molding.

I also like the fact that the front valance is painted to match the car. I've seen this quite a few times and I'm thinking about doing the same thing to mine

  • Very nice ride but I have to disagree on the tires - those low profiles look like crap on a vintage car. I had a 65 arctic white 2 door SS with 327 and Powerglide transmission. I restored it to exact factory with the exception of a slight lift to the rear. When I sold it the car still had the factory option wheel covers and original wheels. I've never seen those lower bars that are below the bumper and attach to the bumper supports, is that some aftermarket or custom addition?
