Storms' newest release. I played various angles with it and even compared it to the Virtual Gravity. In this low volume house, I had to adjust the cover to 4000+polish on each ball. To my surprise, the Prodigy with the weaker layout is more aggressive front to back than the Gravity by 7 boards.

  • hey its me again i got it reldrilled it didnt work out but if u can help and give me a few tips i pout a video on here i know this is my sisters acount to youtube but the video is rhs bowling practice it should show me with a purple shirt on plz if u would

  • @923candy

Let me know exactly where this video is and I'll do what I can. Kinda hard to online though.

  • okay i got my ball drilled and i found this video but there is one prob idk how to throw it bc we have a weird oil pattern we have to get it past 10 to come back but im also a two hander do u know what boards u play on a heavier shot and this is a really excellent video by the way its just i need some help bc i got the same drilling and i was looking on here for help i play 17 to ten on a reg bases but they changed the shot do u know what board i should play its heavy threw the mid and goes 40ft

  • @923candy

Well, it primarily depends not only how long the pattern is, but also where the oil is placed. The longer and heavier the pattern, the more inside you want to play because as the ball exits the pattern, you want it to stay as close to the pocket as possible. The shorter and drier, the more outside you want to play. Your prodigy honestly may be too strong for your lanes. Try adding polish or using a weaker ball. In this house, the only way I can use it is if it's polished.

  • no way is that a "tweener" unless i got my terms wrong, looks more like a cranker to me. playing that far out and that fast isnt a practical approach for a normal house shot, especially in leagues where 90% of bowlers are righties. me being left..the prodigy has not shown me NO backend that blows me away, since i basically break my own line in, i play it thinner, a straighter 10 board shot..my furious and gravity handle the fresh oil better. but the video is solid, and u have an amazing form.

  • @chaosofthemasses

Thank you for the comments. The lanes here are generally low volume, with nothing outside of 10, sometimes 13. So I generally play deep with alot of side roll to let scoot past the front part of the lane. On a heavier, longer pattern, I'm actually much further right.

I've been working more on my hand position to where I can can play further right and straighter initially like in my Anarchy video.

  • @923candy Its a long house shot with oil in the center of the lane, but you can bump the outside which is typically dry. I moved about 15 to 20 boards right and play more straight up the lane and let the ball make its move. Trying to play a wide hook on this can be trouble if you throw a shot that goes to far down the lane in the oil. Moving right and playing more straight will give you hold if you pull it and can get back if you go to wide. Depending on your roll 11 out to 7 is ideal.

  • @923candy sounds like you are bowling on a long house shot. We have the same identical pattern out here in MD. I am using my Prodigy on this pattern best and averaging 4 leagues in my 220's. Our centers just started using a Kegel machine which puts out a heavier volume of oil. When they did this switch, I started using my Prodigy and moved about15 - 20 boards right and played straighter up the lane. The outside boards you could bump, but here you have to go outside of 6.

  • I am a Storm product user. I have the Invasion, V Gravity, V Energy, and Prodigy. My Prodigy is actually the strongest of them all, but at the same time, I do have it drilled to get into a roll. On our lanes our we typically use the frist 40 feet of the lane double coated and the next 2 feet single coat. Outside 6 is typically the bump area. I have been using my Prodigy on this and standing 15 going straight up 7 to 9. I have been told that I am a cross between a cranker and a tweener.

  • and its like med to light on the outside and it dosent break down fast but just cant get the ball to roll and its upsetting bc i avg 205 but i just figure out how to throw it..
