International award-winning pianist and composer Marina Arsenijevic, star of the Emmy-nominated Public Television program, "Marina at West Point:Unity through Diversity" which has been broadcast by PBS stations to more than 160 million viewers, performs her original composition Under the Sun"" with the 120 member West Point Band and Cadet Glee Club . "Under the Sun" is a seamless blend of Christian and Muslim music celebrating the great strength and freedom that America enjoys from its unique ethnic, racial and religious diversity. The concert has been described as a "Symphonic Powerhouse of Patriotism and Passion". Check your local PBS stations for broadcast schedules.
Ms. Arsenijevic is also recipient of the 2011 Leaders of Conscience Award for her courage and endless work uniting diverse cultures amid the conflict, ethnic strife and violence that once embroiled the Balkans. Her message of hope and optimism has been delivered through her music worldwide.
