Pinder is utterly amazing. I wish the Moodies would check their egos at the door and get together one last time before they start dying off.

Sutterjack, what kind of keyboard is Mike playing? It sounded like he said it was a Roland, but I couldn't hear him clearly.

@kleinebudde they said it was because he couldnt take people climbing through windows to ask him the meaning of the cosmos he said he always socialized with fans but everybody gives up on going on the road eventually it can wreck your home life
ted serious was a guy who could take pictures of his thoughts with a polaroid camera he used to pop up on talk shows he said he had to drink a six pack of beer to get in the mood ive been conducting some experiments in beer drinking .

you know it would be cool if mike played a few of his great songs- use a few studio musicians or his sons...people would snap them up like hotcakes.
and yet he didles around, dancing just off the stage and sadly the hour is getting late.
he does seem a bit shy and maybe self concious.

Why did he left the moodies?
We used the real thing (Mellotron MKII) for his interview on the Isle of Wight DVD.

The Isle of Wight Documentary is excellent--I'd really hoped to get Mike playing a actual mellotron for my documentary, but the logistics didn't work out. Always surprised me that Mike doesn't have a mellotron in his attic---it "bought the ranch" for him--I thought he'd be a little sentimental.
