Chester, a 3 year old Pudelpointer, goes swimming at the bone-shaped pool at Julington Creek Animal Walk. Chester's owner provides some background information on this unusual breed. "Pudelpointers started in Germany in the 1800's by mixing Pudels (the german spelling for poodle) with English Pointers in order to obtain a dog that would retrieve ducks in cold water and point upland birds".
