I strongly love this movie. It is my all time favorite. So old, yet one can still recognise the lines from ones own life. At least if one have been passionately in love. You would have to know love to love understand the beauty in this movie. Btw the song is excellently describes Armand's helplessly desperate passion.

Ah I know. While I don't personally see the attraction with Robert Taylor here I know what its like to pine for the gorgeous actors of yesteryears. Its a killer ain't it :)

My favorite classic film. B&W is glorious and Garbo so divine.
