Originally I was going to include Tirisfal Glades in this video, y'know.. Do all of Northern Lordaeron at once but then I found out that, in the most recent patch.. Blizzard broke Undercity. I knew they had changed it back to the old version but they seem to have forgotten to put the walls back in, silly Blizzard!

I'm not sure what to think of the Plaguelands changes, I certainly love how things that were once devistated by Scourge are starting to be re-built and how the area is getting new life once again but at the same time it sort of breaks the feel of the place, maybe that's a good thing. Plaguelands were always the zones I hated levelling in when I first started back in 2006 just because of how ugly everything is. I'm still not a big fan of them today, maybe Cataclysm will change that.

I'm looking forward to seeing what's going on with Andorhal as well, from what I can see it looks like the Alliance are trying to re-build it and make it their home in Lordaeron, perhaps before making the final push for Undercity and the Forsaken are trying to push them back, looks like it will be a fun little zone for questing.

It looks like Hearthglen has been taken over by the Argent Crusade/Dawn (not sure what they'll go by in New Azeroth) which will probably become a new questing hub which is good, Hearthglen is one of those areas that always seems to go amiss.. I mean I don't think I've EVER seen anyone questing there and I've never quested there myself, only been there for exploration.

Another thing I found out is that the fleshed out background of Stratholme (which is visible from the air now, covered in smoke which I really love the look of) seems to be the model from the Alpha, it has the necropolis past the closed instance portal just like in the leaked WoW Alpha from nigh-on 7 years ago.

I'm not sure if that was always there because I've never explored the un-instanced Stratholme before but still, pretty cool.

  • I really hope that the horde area is mainly inhabited by undead and not orcs because of where its located. I think the undead could use more bases.

  • they should change plaguelands to joylands xD
